Isn't my Pergola Made With Pressure Treated Wood?
Many times, yes it is. However, pressure treated wood will dry out and still need stained. In fact, we want it to dry out for a period of about 3 months after installed but then it will require staining or sealing. If not, moister will absorb, and the cycle of swelling and drying will eventually cause splits and cracks.
